Step 4: Decode the Rush Fee & Shipping Matrix

Final Reality Check

Rush printing is a premium service for a reason. You’re paying for prioritized scheduling, overtime labor, and expedited logistics. According to FTC guidelines, the vendor’s claims about delivery times need to be truthful and substantiated. If a deal seems too good to be true—like a 48-hour turnaround at no extra cost—it probably is.

The goal isn’t just to get it done fast, but to get it done fast and right. Following these steps forces you to slow down just enough at the start to make the frantic finish actually possible. Now you know what to do next time the clock starts ticking.
